I would highly recommend Dave to anyone interested in buying real estate.

Dave is an incredible wealth of knowledge! He went way beyond simply navigating me through the process of buying my first home. Dave Kolakowski made our sale absolutely flawless! I won't say painless because this took a lot of hard work, ours and his, to conclude in such a smooth and fast sale. Starting weeks in advance and right through closing, Dave guided us through the steps of preparing to show (we learned what "de-clutter" really means); presented us his thorough plans for marketing the property; and explained the final details of the pricing and sales contract. His prep certainly paid off - listed on a Friday, open house that Sunday, contracted for list price on the Wednesday after. Impeccable service that we can highly recommend...and we're repeat clients: Dave was our agent as buyers years ago on this property and demonstrated again the same high degree professionalism and integrity. "Dave followed through as if it was his own house to ensure we got the best deal...

We got attracted to Dave when he would send us emails on his impressive analysis of the housing market in Bethesda & Potomac, MD which were areas we were interested in. When we made an appointment to see him, my spouse and I quickly made up our minds that he was the best person to be our realtor. As he presented himself, he mentioned one thing that we saw throughout the process and that was his job was to represent our interest. This he did very well as we searched for a house. I recall even when we made mistakes to select houses that we would later on regret purchasing, he gracefully corrected us. In the end, we got a wonderful house that we love at the price we could afford. The house had a few issues to address but Dave followed through as if it was his own house to ensure we got the best deal with the seller to address those issues. He even made sure we got the best contractors to address those issues and now we live in a fully functional house. He also recommended us to a great mortgage banker, Kevin Dunn of First Portfolio Lending, who helped us through very challenging circumstances to get the best financing deal to close on the house. If we were to rate his performance, we would give him 7 stars, however, we are limited to the maximum of 5 stars. We would confidently recommend any potential house buyers to have him as their realtor.

Dave helped me find a great investment property in Bethesda that immediately provided positive cash flow. And his sense for a great location is very valuable as well. This house is two blocks from a Ride-On bus route that is less than 10 minutes from a Metro station! This will be very valuable the longer I decide to hold on to this property. I highly recommend that anyone thinking of investing talk to him...
